Our Heroes

He was the first Baba Alakoso of St. Moses Orimolade Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ikirun Conference when it was registered as a full-fledged conference by the Corporate Affairs Commission then at Lagos. He fought gallantly for the establishment of this conference. His spiritual proceeds led to the establishment of Orimolade Commercial Grammar School, Ikirun in 1979. He was born in Ikirun at Aogun’s Compound, Oke Iroko, Ikirun, Osun State.

He was anointed as second Baba Alakoso after the demise of Baba Adediji. He was a good visioner and prophet of God to the core. His spiritual inclination attracted several members to Cherubim and Seraphim church especially in Ila Orangun and its environs. Before he became Baba Alakoso, he was the chairman council of prophet, the office which he used and developed with all his efforts and capacities. He was born in Ede-Mosi via Ila Orangun, Osun State.

He led the establishment of St. Moses Orimolade Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ikirun which flourished through length and breadth of Nigeria and beyond and he suffered hostility and persecution to the extent that he was jailed, not because of anything but because of establishment of cherubim and seraphim. He was born at Elemo-Aga’s Compound, Oke Amola, Ikirun, Osun State.

His personality spoke volumes during his life time. He used all he had for the development and propagation of gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ikirun. He too suffered a lot of persecutions to the extent that he was forced to sweep at Oja Oba Ikirun simply because of the establishment of cherubim and seraphim.

He was the first Secretary General to St. Moses Orimolade Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ikirun conference. He championed the registration of this conference as a knowledgeable and educated fellow whose personality and affluence positively affected this conference and nurtured it to a greater height. He was born into the family of Pa. Samson Olateru of Olonde’s Compound, Ikirun, Osun State.
